Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked the identity cards of two thousand individuals BISP Scam involved in defrauding the public.
According to PTI officials, approximately 2,000 individuals involved in fraudulent activities, enticing people with the Benazir Income Support Program and game show rewards, have had their identity cards blacklisted.
PTI has issued clear instructions to mobile companies not to release any new SIM cards in the future to those on the block list.

Regarding this matter, PTI authorities emphasize that this year, they received 15,000 complaints related to fraud, with the majority of complaints concerning the Benazir Income Support Program and game shows. They successfully resolved 99% of these complaints.
PTI urges the public to exercise caution against illegal applications and to report financial fraud-related complaints to the relevant authorities.
PTI advises that in the event of financial fraud, individuals should report the matter to the State Bank and the FIA Cyber Crime Wing. Upon receiving a fraud complaint, PTI initially blocks the relevant phone numbers.
Officials state that in cases of repeated involvement in fraud, all SIMs associated with the concerned identity card are blocked, and, in the final phase, the relevant identity BISP Scam card is blocked.

پی ٹی آئی حکام کے مطابق، تقریباً 2,000 افراد جو دھوکہ دہی کی سرگرمیوں میں ملوث ہیں، لوگوں کو بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام اور گیم شو کے انعامات کے لیے آمادہ کرتے ہیں، ان کے شناختی کارڈ بلیک لسٹ کیے گئے ہیں۔
پی ٹی آئی نے موبائل کمپنیوں کو واضح ہدایات جاری کی ہیں کہ بلاک لسٹ میں شامل افراد کو مستقبل میں کوئی نیا سم کارڈ جاری نہ کیا جائے۔
اس معاملے کے حوالے سے پی ٹی آئی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ اس سال انہیں دھوکہ دہی سے متعلق 15000 شکایات موصول ہوئیں جن میں سے زیادہ تر شکایات بینظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام اور گیم شوز سے متعلق تھیں۔ انہوں نے ان میں سے 99 فیصد شکایات کو کامیابی سے حل کیا۔
پی ٹی آئی عوام پر زور دیتی ہے کہ وہ غیر قانونی درخواستوں کے خلاف احتیاط برتیں اور متعلقہ حکام کو مالی فراڈ سے متعلق شکایات کی اطلاع دیں۔
پی ٹی آئی کا مشورہ ہے کہ مالی فراڈ کی صورت میں، افراد اس معاملے کی اطلاع اسٹیٹ بینک اور ایف آئی اے سائبر کرائم ونگ کو دیں۔ دھوکہ دہی کی شکایت موصول ہونے پر، پی ٹی آئی ابتدائی طور پر متعلقہ فون نمبرز کو بلاک کر دیتی ہے۔
حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ دھوکہ دہی میں بار بار ملوث ہونے کی صورت میں، متعلقہ شناختی کارڈ سے منسلک تمام سمز کو بلاک کر دیا جاتا ہے، اور آخری مرحلے میں، متعلقہ شناختی کارڈ کو بلاک کر دیا جاتا ہے۔
