According to the Punjab Chief Minister, about 20000 students will be given motorcycles by the Punjab government. Among which there will be 1000 such motorcycles which are electric motorcycles while 19 thousand are simple motorcycles.
How to Apply For E-Bike Through Punjab E-Portal?
If you want to get an electric bike or a simple bike from Punjab, then you have to apply through the Punjab Bike E-Portal. The procedure to apply on Punjab Portal is very simple which is as follows:
- First of all you have to open the Punjab Bike E-portal in your mobile phone or laptop.
- Create an account there as a new user.
- While creating an account, you have to enter your correct information such as full name, ID card number, your registered mobile number and home address.
- Record your academic activities within the academic section. In which you have to tell the grades obtained in Matriculation FSC and graduation.
- After that, you have to sign on the affidavit.
- And the skin copy of your documents should be uploaded along with this application.
- After attaching the documents, the Punjab Bikes Scheme form has to be submitted on the e-portal.

Who are iligible for Punjab Bike Scheme?
Not all students can join the Punjab bike scheme started by the Punjab government. Rather, only those students who meet the eligibility criteria of the Punjab Bikes Scheme can get a bike under this bike scheme. Eligibility criteria for getting a government-made bike are as follows:
- You should not already join any scheme from the government.
- You have not been given any laptop etc. by the government.
- You are not getting the education scholarship given by the government.
- You belong to a poor family.
- Have more than 50% marks in your board exams.
- There should be no supply etc. in your science subject.
- Your attendance should be more than 75%.
